A delicious Autoimmune Protocol taco blend made free from gluten, nightshades, seeds, and preservatives. It’s super easy to make and full of flavor!
Taco night is one of my favorite evenings of the week! After all, who doesn’t love a delicious, tasty taco? When preparing authentic Mexican dishes, traditional taco seasonings typically call for spicy nightshade vegetables and seed ingredients. However; due to food sensitivities and the need to transition to a nightshade free diet, I found a way to prepare tacos with alternative ingredients. This recipe was created through trial and error, and I’m happy to share it with you!
This simple seasoning mix will be the perfect addition to your taco night. It is made up of a variety of spices including oregano, garlic, onion, ginger, cilantro, turmeric, cinnamon, and sea salt. A hint of lime and bone broth provide an extra zest of flavor and sauciness to this combination. This seasoning works great with beef or chicken.

Amazing recipe! Because we like tacos so much I make six or eight times the recipe and store in a glass jar. I always have the seasoning when needed. One recipe amount is 2 tablespoons plus two and a quarter teaspoons.

I LOVE this recipe. I use ground turkey and it is so delicious. I found a wonderful recipe for cassava flour tortillas and what a match made in heaven. I load up that tortilla with cilantro lime cooked riced cauliflower, the taco meat, avocado slices and lots of lime juice and yum-oh! Thanks for the fantastic recipe!
